Bradford & District Union of Golf Clubs

Clayton Win The Sue Ryder Salver

It was the Union’s major fundraiser for the Sue Ryder charity today. Played this year at South Bradford there was a decent turnout from member clubs and we’ve raised a few hundred pounds for this great cause.

Special thanks to the host club who asked for the Union’s usual contribution for use of the course to be donated back to the Charity.

Taking home the Sue Ryder salver are the team from Clayton, President Jimmy Sydney, Chris Foster and Tony Jackson were 6 points clear of Bingley and 9 clear of 3rd placed Woodhall Hills. Thanks to all clubs that contributed we know several couldn’t field teams for various reasons but your help is much appreciated, In total just short of £1,200 was raised, Well done all.
